Biomet entered into a 3-year Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) with the U.S. DOJ and a Consent to Final Judgment with the U.S. SEC in 2012. In 1Q15, the company disclosed that the DPA and independent compliance monitor were extended for an additional year.
