Tyber Medical commenced commercial launch of a low profile lateral plating system.
The implant features three points of fixation in each vertebral body, eliminating some instrumentation required by other systems on the market. Further, to reduce the possibility of neurologic deficit, the screw is designed to mate flush with the surface of the plate when locked.
Other spine devices in Tyber’s portfolio include a lateral retractor, cervical plate and TyPEEK interbody systems, which are FDA-cleared and CE Marked.
