Total Joint Orthopedics (TJO) commenced initial market release of its new Klassic ONE® single tray instrumentation system for primary total knee replacement. Klassic ONE System works with TJO’s Klassic Knee to bring down the cost of healthcare, eliminate waste and reduce sterilization cost and O.R. set up, while eliminating preoperative imaging, templating and disposables.
Klassic ONE features redesigned instrumentation, now lighter with improved ergonomics. It is ideal for ambulatory surgical centers, but can improve efficiency, lower costs and decrease turnover times in any surgical setting.
The system allows up to 90% of cases to be completed with a single tray of instruments (100% can be performed with two trays) without the need for patient-specific customization.
Erin Hofmann, CEO of Total Joint Orthopedics, said, “This system becomes another integral part of our company and further evidence of the Efficiency by Design® standard we strive for in everything we produce. Klassic ONE® will serve as the foundation for many more innovations moving forward.”
