The Orthopaedic Implant Company (OIC) entered the sports medicine market with launch of a 5.5mm PEEK Suture Anchor.
The OIC Anchor is designed to accommodate surgeon preference, using up to three #2 sutures of any brand. The biocompatible PEEK anchors feature full-length threads to optimize fixation, and a vented design may promote increased blood flow.
The anchor joins OIC’s lineup of primarily products to treat fractures: nails, plates and screws.
