As an SFS company, Tegra will continue operations under its own brand at headquarters in Massachusetts. Senior management will remain, including President & CEO J. Mark King, CFO Craig Campbell, VP Sales and Marketing Lee Crowe and VP GENESIS Tech Center Mike Treleaven.
SFS has sought a manufacturer to add focused medical device expertise to its offerings; SFS brings increased capabilities such as micro molding and cold forming to Tegra Medical.
Tegra Medical has 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in four locations in the U.S. and Costa Rica, and is ISO 13485:2003 and FDA registered and QSR compliant. Its offerings address all orthopaedic market segments (e.g. joint reconstruction, extremities, spine, trauma, arthroscopy).
SFS Group is a global player with manufacturing sites and distribution at more than 70 locations in 25 countries. The company posted 2015 revenue of CHF 1.4BB (~US $1.4BB) with a workforce of 8,300 employees.
