Tegra Medical, a medical device contract manufacturer, is to be acquired by SFS Group, a provider of customized precision-formed components and mechanical fastening systems in Switzerland.
As an SFS company, Tegra will continue operations under its own brand at headquarters in Massachusetts. Senior management will remain, including President & CEO J. Mark King, CFO Craig Campbell, VP Sales and Marketing Lee Crowe and VP GENESIS Tech Center Mike Treleaven.
SFS has sought a manufacturer to add focused medical device expertise to its offerings; SFS brings increased capabilities such as micro molding and cold forming to Tegra Medical.
