Stryker acquired the Osteotomy Truss System (OTS) and Ankle Truss System (ATS) from 4WEB Medical.
The new Ankle Truss System, which includes Arthrosphere and Arthrocube implants, is designed to restore limb length while providing structural integrity for the limb during tibiotalocalcaneal fusions. ATS implants feature Truss Implant Technology, offering an open architecture designed to provide structural support and promote fusion. It is cleared for use with Stryker’s T2 Ankle Arthrodesis Nail or Valor Hindfoot Fusion Nail and will be readily available in three different shapes to enable expedited scheduling of surgeries for patients requiring immediate ankle fusion.
The Osteotomy Truss System (OTS) comprises Cotton, Evans and Utility wedges. It is indicated for internal bone fixation and osteotomies in the foot and ankle and is currently available for use.
“The addition of the ATS and the integration of Artelon reflects our commitment to providing surgeons with enhanced orthopaedic solutions to achieve the best possible patient outcomes,” said Michael Rankin, Vice President of Marketing and Medical Education of Stryker’s Foot & Ankle business. “We will never stop our dedication to advancing our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers for all foot and ankle procedures. We look forward to showcasing our expanded portfolio at the AOFAS conference.”
