Qspine’s salesforce comprises four salespeople, which will be increased to support the same level of market share that Safe Orthopaedics has in France, presently, where >6,000 surgeries have been performed with the company’s surgical kits. Growth in utilization there is attributed to salesforce expansion from 4 to 7 employees, and accelerated adoption of SteriSpine pedicle screws. The company claims to have doubled its market share in the France pedicle screw market in 2017, reaching 8%.
Qspine’s single-use sterile illuminated radiolucent SURE retractor, recently CE Mark approved, is complementary to Safe Ortho’s SteriSpine™ kits to treat spinal fracture. Safe Orthopaedics will solely distribute SURE in France, and will promote it in the U.K.
