RTI Surgical Announces Limited Launch of Unison-C Anterior Cervical Fixation System

By Julie A. Vetalice

RTI Surgical commenced limited launch of the Unison™-C anterior cervical fixation system. The first human implantation occurred in an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion procedure.

Unison-C is indicated for standalone anterior cervical interbody fusion to treat degenerative disc disease at a single level. The PEEK-OPTIMA®-based device is designed for use with autograft and/or allograft, and doesn't require supplemental fixation.
