RSIP Vision Launched an AI-based Shoulder Replacement Planning Tool

RSIP Vision launched an artificial intelligence-based shoulder replacement solution for integration into surgical planning platforms. The technology is intended to support automated 3D shoulder structuring to allow better navigation through tissues in the proximity of the damaged area and boost positive clinical outcomes.

The tool will be embedded in existing pre-planning solutions to help understand the individual patient anatomy and decrease the risk of complications such as nerve damage, disposition of the ball inside of the socket or limited movement of the joint due to a loose connection of one of the supporting structures.

At the close of 2019, RSIP launched its AI-based total hip replacement solution that provides an automated 3D structure of the patients’ hip for surgical planning.
