Paragon 28 launched the PHANTOM™ Lapidus Intramedullary Nail, the first dedicated intramedullary nail used to correct arthrodesis of the first TMT joint. The PHANTOM nail utilizes crossed screw fixation both distally and proximally in order to generate greater compressive force than screws placed through a plate. The nails are offered in lengths of 38-60 mm, in 2 mm increments.
This latest product launch comes just a month after the company’s launch of the PRECISION™ Jones Fracture Screw system. PHANTOM is the seventh product launch announced by Paragon 28 in 1H17.
