Paragon 28 launched the Gorilla® Medial Column Plating System for Charcot and midfoot reconstruction. This latest release offers 36 titanium plating options to address variations in patient anatomy and levels of deformity, and all plates accept both R3CON™ and TuffNeck™ screws.
Additional features include:
- Tabbed superior holes on the arch and proximal arch plates to assist in contouring
- Fixed axis screw trajectories to capture bone at the fusion site without intersecting
- Procedure-specific instrumentation: pin distractor, compression/distraction device, subchondral drill, cartilage removal tool
The Gorilla Medial system is the second launch of the year for Paragon 28, following the Baby Gorilla® Mini Plate for procedures that require narrower plates and smaller screws for small bones in the foot and ankle.
