The hydraulically-powered OrthoWell instrument, which may be used with any prosthesis, separates vertebrae during anterior procedures such as disc implantation, ALIF cages and spinal tumor removal. The product is CE Marked (under the company’s former name, Ortoviva) and reported to have regulatory clearance for sale in the U.S.
