Orthoscan will showcase its latest product, Orthoscan TAU 2020, at the 2019 American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Annual Meeting.
The mini C-arm features what is reportedly the largest detector and field-of-view and the largest high-resolution diagnostic touchscreen monitor available on such a device. Pulsed fluoroscopy and optimized dose filtration support significant dose savings, while a 160° orbital rotation allows image acquisition without stressing anatomy. TAU 2020 is the only mini C-arm on the market with a pediatric indication.
The company’s systems are used for orthopedic imaging of upper and lower extremities. Its portfolio includes Mobile DI, a portable system for clinical and off-site or remote access imaging needs.
