Orthofix (OFIX) launched JuniOrtho™, a new brand to house products and services that treat pediatric orthopaedic and congenital deformities.
Educational resources under the JuniOrtho brand include websites juniortho.club and limbhealing.com, as well as literature and tools designed specifically for use by young patients.
OFIX’s pediatric extremity fixation offerings began with launch of a limb lengthener in the early 1980s. Today, its products include the TL HEX™ TrueLok Hexapod system and Guided Growth™ plates, available in >70 countries. Launch of the JuniOrtho brand was alluded to in the company’s 3Q16 earnings call.

- Implanet, which received global regulatory clearance in 1Q17 for Jazz Frame connectors for use with JAZZ Band in the treatment of adult and pediatric spinal deformity
- Materialise, which gained FDA clearance in 1Q17 for Surgicase Orthopaedics to assist in pre-op planning for pediatric patients undergoing radius and ulna osteotomies
