OrthAlign® is a handheld navigation device that allows for accurate component positioning for total and partial knee and total hip arthroplasty. The next-generation platform weighs 7 ounces and is designed to improve results through simple workflows.
The technology can be used without the financial investment, pre-operative imaging or processes required by many robotic or computer-assisted surgical systems.
OrthAlign comprises one single-use disposable unit and one tray per patient case. It is run on an Android system and is compatible with standard implant systems.
The handheld navigation technology is currently being used in hospitals and surgical facilities across the U.S.
In November 2021 the company launched Lantern®, which has since become the company’s flagship product. Lantern provides orthopedic surgeons with a device for improving outcomes of total and partial knee replacement surgery. This year, OrthAlign added a Balance feature to Lantern to provide quantitative support to enhance accuracy and aid surgeons in soft-tissue balancing during primary and revision knee replacement.
