Nvision Biomedical Technologies introduced the Trigon® Ti Stand-Alone Osteotomy Wedge Fixation System, a 3D-manufactured device for Evans and Cotton surgical procedures. The system supports a standard surgical technique that allows direct and exact placement of implant and screws without the need for additional plating.
Nvision has observed patient success with its 3D-printed medical grade titanium alloy interbody cages. The Trigon titanium wedge also uses additive manufacturing and 3D-printed medical-grade titanium alloy in an anatomic design, with a three-dimensional scaffold imitating cancellous bone to allow for blood and bone integration. A large graft window accommodates biologic material, if desired.
Nvision launched its Vector® Hammertoe Correction System in March 2019. Vector is reportedly the only foot and ankle implant made from biocompatible PEEK-OPTIMA™ HA Enhanced polymer from Invibio Biomaterial Solutions. It is also the first lower extremity (Proximal Interphalangeal Joint Arthrodesis) implant to use Structural Encoding® technology licensed from Watershed Idea Foundry, that enables the Unique Device Identification required by FDA.
Nvision’s pipeline includes an addition to the Trigon wedge system developed with PEEK-OPTIMA HA Enhanced that has been submitted for FDA clearance.
