NuVasive (NUVA) is introducing its Integrated Global Alignment (iGA™) platform in the U.K. market. iGA packages procedural technology and tools as one platform to help address proper spinal alignment. The debut will occur at BritSpine 2016.
The U.K. introduction follows NUVA’s plan, announced in its 3Q15 earnings call, to commence ex-U.S. launch of iGA in 2016.
As suggested by the name, iGA is intended to support integrated global alignment of the spine, which has been found to correlate to successful long-term surgical outcomes. The platform includes alignment-focused offerings, such as ReLine™ next-gen fixation, anterior and posterior implants, updated neuromonitoring and Bendini® computer-assisted rod bending, as well as NuvaMap™, Nuvaline™ and NuvaMap O.R. surgical planning technology.
