NuVasive (NUVA) launched Lateral ALIF, XLIF Crestline™ and Lateral MAS® Fixation, expanding its lateral single-position procedure portfolio.
- Lateral ALIF features a new retractor designed to provide direct access to L5-S1, with the patient in one single lateral decubitus position
- XLIF Crestline allows lateral access to L4-L5 levels where an XLIF cannot be performed, and uses NVM5®, MaXcess® and XLIF implants
- Lateral MAS Fixation uses Reline® fixation system to preserve and restore spinal alignment
Further, NUVA unveiled its Advanced Materials Science (AMS) portfolio, including the recently-launched 3D-printed titanium Modulus™ XLIF and porous PEEK™ technology acquired with Vertera Spine.
NUVA now claims to be the only device company offering porous interbody technology across both PEEK and titanium materials. Future products will integrate porous PEEK technology across all procedural offerings.
