NuVasive is introducing an Integrated Global Alignment™ (iGA) platform expanded to support all spinal procedures, including cervical alignment, along with new implants. Further, NUVA acquired LessRay software technology from SafeRay Spine.
LessRay software is designed to integrate into a current workflow with an algorithm to drive image registration and manage radiation exposure.
The new iGA launch includes Bendini® OCT, a computer-assisted rod bending system with new application in occipito-cervico-thoracic cases. Bendini OCT is used with NuvaPlanning™ software and NuvaMap™ O.R. real-time intra-op assessment of correction. The platform also includes CoRoent® Small Interlock™ Hyperlordotic, an anterior cervical interfixated implant.
The iGA system now also includes BASE™ Interfixated Titanium implants, designed to achieve fusion and spinal alignment with a wide range of implant size and lordosis options.
The original iteration of iGA launched in 2Q15.
