Nextremity Solutions introduced i3™ Strategic Solutions, a “micro-commercialization” model serving the foot and ankle market.
Through i3, Nextremity will continue its work with surgeons to develop and commercialize solutions for the foot and ankle market. Further, the company seeks to establish effective packaging and delivery systems, create effective marketing and educational collateral and provide products with proven sales and clinical efficacy to industry partners.
The “i3” name represents three levels to the approach:
Innovative Designs: A core of Surgeon Creators and thought leaders from foot/ankle society communities informs product design and development strategies in response to the most relevant needs of both clinicians and patients
Intelligent Evaluation: During beta launch, Surgeon Evaluators gather product feedback and intel
Integrative Solutions: Assembles info and intel to generate marketing collaterals, clinical white papers, surgeon education strategies expands sales and distribution; the company notes that this “allows us to provide solutions ready for our industry partners with proven sales and adoption rates as well as the elements needed to be successfully integrated into a well-established, worldwide distribution system”
Company leadership noted a “strong internal pipeline and…several external opportunities that we’ve been presented with over the last 6 months that we plan to support with our new model.”
The i3 plan follows news of an exclusive agreement for Zimmer Biomet to globally distribute Nextremity Solutions’ forefoot elective deformity correction products.
