Bioventus selected MEDSERVICE to distribute DUROLANE® single-injection joint fluid in Russia. Specifically, MEDSERVICE will offer a 3ml dose indicated to treat mild to moderate knee or hip osteoarthritis (OA), and DUROLANE SJ in a 1ml dose for mild to moderate OA pain in the ankle, elbow, wrist, fingers and toes.
Bioventus has commercialized the DUROLANE product ex-U.S. for >15 years, including launches in Italy, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, etc. In late 4Q16, the company entered into an agreement with Galderma to bring DUROLANE treatment to the U.S., with plans to file a Premarket Approval Application with FDA in early 2017.
