Initial cases are complete and multiple surgeries performed with Life Spine’s SIMPACT™ Tri-Fin Sacroiliac Joint Fusion device.
The system, which features OSSEO-LOC™ surface technology, fully launched November 2017 after limited launch in 2015. SIMPACT Tri-Fin features cannulated implants in various lengths to accommodate patient anatomies, helical cutting flutes intended to speed and ease insertion, and a design that allows the screw to harvest local bone while being implanted across the SI joint.
SIMPACT TRI-FIN also features an anti-rotational sleeve to inhibit component back-out, and a screw thread design that compresses and stabilizes the SI joint.
