ConMed is granted the right to promote use of products and techniques for knotless double row rotator cuff repair as claimed in U.S. Patent No. 7,585,311, related patents and applications for the life of those patents.
The company notes that ~1/3 of >400,000 rotator cuff repairs in the U.S. use the technique to achieve an anatomic reattachment of tendon.
