K2M announced preliminary 4Q17 revenue in the range of US $67.3MM to $67.9MM, an increase of up to 10% over 4Q16, and full-year 2017 revenue ranging from $257.5MM to $258.1MM, +9% vs. 2016.
This comes in above the high end of a guidance range that was revised and announced in 3Q17, which was $255.0MM to $257.0MM, and had been restated to reflect 3Q’s softer sales performance and the effect of U.S. distribution issues, as well as ~$2.0MM in weather-related disruptions.
Growth was attributed to new products and expanded distribution. For 2018, the company looks forward to increased 2H18 sales opportunities that will arise from its collaboration with Brainlab, complementing the BACS® platform and EVEREST® Minimally Invasive XT system. Leadership estimates a revenue increase of up to 10% for 2018.
