K2M commenced U.S. commercial launch of the MOJAVE™ PL 3D Expandable Interbody featuring Lamellar 3D Titanium Technology™ to enable bony integration.
The device, which received FDA 510(k) clearance just over one year ago, is reportedly the first 3D-printed expandable posterior lumbar interbody on the market.
MOJAVE supports independent control of anterior and posterior height in the lumbar spine, a capability reportedly not available with any other product. Infinite adjustment within the expansion range allows the implant to be locked at any desired height and lordosis for the restoration of sagittal balance. MOJAVE can be used with K2M’s Balance ACS® (BACS®) platform to address each anatomical vertebral segment with a 360-degree approach of the axial, coronal and sagittal planes.
