K2M followed the launch of its first expandable interbody system with news of its second, announcing FDA 510(k) clearance of MOJAVE™ PL, a 3D-printed expandable posterior-lumbar interbody system featuring Lamellar 3D Titanium™.
MOJAVE supports independent control of anterior and posterior height in the lumbar spine, a capability reportedly not available with any other product. Infinite adjustment within the expansion range allows the implant to be locked at any desired height and lordosis for the restoration of sagittal balance.
Earlier this week, the company introduced SAHARA™ AL, its first expandable interbody device. SAHARA AL is reported to be the only lordotic expandable interbody device that features integrated screw fixation for spinal balance.
