Intellirod Spine recently had the first human use of its intraoperative LOADPRO™ sensor in an approved clinical study. The company is pursuing a de novo 510(k) and a CE Mark for LOADPRO.
Intellirod also announced it is entering the digital health market with newly secured intellectual property. The IntelliBrace™ project supports in-home remote monitoring through the company’s wireless implant, the ACCUVISTA™ rod strain sensor. The technology is expected to provide caregivers more information aimed at improving patient compliance and decreasing mobility related complications.
