The intellijoint HIP miniature 3D surgical measurement tool, used within the sterile field, is intended to address instability, hip dislocation and leg length discrepancy and is compatible with the majority of implant vendors.

Intellijoint Surgical launched the intellijoint HIP in the U.S. in 1Q15 and Canada in mid-2015. The system received its original FDA 510(k) clearance in 2014, with clearance for a next-generation version, including cup positioning, in 1Q16.

In late 2014, Corin acquired Optimized Ortho, an Australian orthopaedic technology company, providing Corin with the OPS technology to improve component positioning in total hip replacement.
