In2Bones commenced global launch of the AlloAid BioNail™, an engineered, sterile allograft implant for hand and foot surgery.
AlloAid BioNail features a tapered point and contoured wedge facets to ease insertion, anchor the implant into a fusion site and act as a compressive force to aid fixation.
AlloAid BioNails are resorbed gradually by the surrounding bone, reducing the need for implant removal. The natural, engineered allograft also makes the BioNail viable for patients with metal allergies.
The system is supplied sterile in various sizes, with single-use surgical instrument kits, and is the sixth In2Bones sterile allograft product commercialized under the AlloAid brand.
