Implanet was granted a patent in Japan for JAZZ Lock® technology, part of its JAZZ™ solutions platform to treat degenerative spine disorders.
JAZZ Lock is a multi-purpose implant. Its locking mechanism requires no rod fixation, and use with the JAZZ Band polyester braid allows surgeons to shorten and simplify procedures by eliminating locking screws and connecting rods. The JAZZ Lock locking mechanism is a component of JAZZ Cap®, a proprietary solution to secure screws in poor quality bone.
This new patent in Japan further expands Implanet’s patent portfolio, now totaling 30 specifically related to the JAZZ™ platform.
