Gramercy Extremity Orthopedics was granted FDA 510(k) clearance to market the GEO® Nitinol Staple for fixation of small bone fragments, osteotomies and joint arthrodesis.
The device offers symmetric or asymmetric, barbed or smooth staples in various sizes. Each is delivered in the relaxed position and is preloaded on individual inserters.
All implants and instruments within the system are provided sterile (instruments are provided in single-use kits).
The staples will combine with Gramercy’s RFID-enabled GEO CART® delivery system.
