
Globus Medical reported 1Q26 orthopedic sales of $759.9 million, up 27% compared to the first quarter of 2025. The base business, excluding revenue from Nevro, grew 13.2%.
The strong quarter came from continued results in U.S. spine along with better performance for enabling technology and international spine. Globus has sustained growth momentum in spine for 58 consecutive weeks driven by cross-selling, competitive recruiting and robotics pull-through.
Spine sales outside the United States faced weaker comps because of the supply chain disruptions that Globus experienced in the first quarter of 2025. This quarter, the EMEA and Latin America regions drove substantial growth.
Globus’ trauma business continues to grow and remains focused on level 1 and 2 trauma centers. The ANTEHM elbow plating system was a standout performer for the company.
The company has performed nearly 130,000 robotic procedures to date and maintains that no other competitive system can match the reliability and efficient workflow of ExcelsiusGPS. Globus is shifting gears on its technology placement strategy, and will be more focused on flexible models going forward.
“Robotics pull-through remains a key driver,” said Globus CEO Keith Pfeil. “And as we demonstrate greater flexibility in how customers acquire capital, we seek to more aggressively drive the recurring revenue, whether through implants, disposables, service or case coverage. Strategically, we are slightly altering our approach to capture more accounts and expand upon surgeon and rep training, thus driving success at accounts with Enabling Technologies.”
The company reaffirmed its 2026 total revenue guidance of $3.18 billion to $3.22 billion.
