Globus Medical’s SECURE-C Disc Covered by Anthem

Globus Medical’s SECURE-C® cervical disc is now covered by Anthem in the U.S., bringing coverage for the device to all states and every major third party payor.

SECURE-C gained FDA premarket approval in 2012. Results of seven-year clinical trial follow-up, released in 2017, indicated superiority of the device vs. Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion, the current standard of care for cervical disc disease.
