SeaSpine commenced full commercial launch of the Vu aPOD™ Prime NanoMetalene System.
Vu aPOD Prime features a zero-profile, standalone anterior lumbar interbody device that can be configured to accommodate a patient’s pathology, with multiple fixation options. Implants are delivered individually sterile-packaged.
Other NanoMetalene devices in SeaSpine’s portfolio include the Cambria™ cervical interbody system and the Hollywood™ VI (variable insertion) transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion device. NanoMetalene is a sub-micron layer of commercially-pure titanium, molecularly bonded to a PEEK-OPTIMA® polymer.
The original Vu aPOD was launched under Theken Spine in 2007.
