Arthro Positioning Systems (APS) announced the first clinic use cases of the Velocity Bump™ Intra-operative knee positioner in the U.S.
APS states that Velocity Bump is the first manual knee positioner operated completely outside the sterile field, specifically designed for orthopedic surgeons performing knee surgery in a highly efficient surgical setting.
A combination of design simplicity, robust stability and reliability, Velocity Bump is designed to provide robust surgical efficiency and clinical utility in orthopedic operating rooms across the U.S.
“Following the initial surgical procedures with Velocity Bump™, we are seeing continued use and expanded interest across a wide range of demanding knee applications including total knee arthroplasty as well as sports-related knee injury repairs such as anterior cruciate ligament, patellar tendon, and quad tendon reconstruction surgery where other knee positioners have lacked in the combination of safety, efficiency, and reliability,” said Jeremy Smith, Co-Founder of Arthro Positioning Systems. “We continue to expand to rapidly accommodate every surgeon’s need.”
