K2M confirmed the first surgical case performed using the CASCADIA™ Lateral Interbody System featuring Lamellar Titanium Technology™, in late 4Q15.
Lamellar Titanium, manufactured through 3D printing, supports incorporation of both a porosity and surface roughness that pre-clinical data have associated with bone growth activity. CASCADIA is available in a full range of implant sizes and is designed to work with the RAVINE® Lateral Access System and a far lateral transpsoas approach.
CASCADIA Lateral is K2M’s third product to feature Lamellar Titanium technology, following FDA 510(k) clearance and CE Mark approval for the CASCADIA AN and TL Interbody Systems in 2015.
