Exactech announced the first surgery with the Equinoxe® Preserve humeral stem and first U.S. procedures using the ExactechGPS® Shoulder application.
Preserve is approximately two-thirds the length of EXAC’s current stem offering, and features include a polished distal tip to support ease of revision and plasma coating to aid fixation. The shoulder application for ExactechGPS received FDA 510(k) clearance in May 2017.
Full U.S. launch for the stem and ExactechGPS Shoulder Application is slated for early 2018.
