Field Orthopaedics is expanding its global presence through EMEA launch of the Micro Screw system. CE Mark is pending in the region.
Sales expansion will be managed by the Ortho Consulting Group. The system is already marketed in Australia and the U.S., having received FDA 510(k) clearance this year.
The Micro Screw kit includes 1.5mm and 2.0mm diameter cannulated compression screws with lengths ranging from 6mm to 16mm in 1mm increments.
Of the 12 projects in Field Orthopaedics’ development pipeline, 6 are expected to gain regulatory approval within 3 years. Future products may include a range of power tools and a bone cement designed to eliminate infection following orthopaedic procedures.
