Presently, Episurf has ~80 active patents and patent applications distributed in 20 patent families.
Episurf’s patient-specific implants and Epiguide® drill guides are designed to treat localized cartilage injury in joints. EpiGuide MOS, a precision tool kit for the mosaicplasty procedure, received CE Mark approval in 4Q15, and the company’s method to manufacture patient-specific joint implants and associated surgical tools was granted a U.S. patent in 1Q16.
