The European Patent Office (EPO) has taken the decision to allow another European patent for Episurf Medical. The decision was taken at an oral proceeding with the EPO. The patent, “Implant specific drill tool,” relates to the implant drill included in the kit of surgical instruments used for implantation of the individualized joint implant Episealer®.
“This gives us additional IP protection for our surgical instruments, which are developed to ensure great precision of the Episealer® technology”, said Katarina Flodström, COO, Episurf Medical.
