Corin commenced U.S. launch of its Optimized Positioning System (OPS™) system, designed to reduce wear and dislocation rates through use of pre-op functional simulation and intra-op positioning that employs 3D printing and laser guidance.
The first U.S. procedure with OPS occurred in 4Q16, after 510(k) clearance in 2Q of that year. The system is also cleared in the EU and Australia, where >3,000 procedures have been performed to date.
Corin is participating in AAOS 2017 in Booth #5623.
