Captiva Spine received FDA 510(k) clearance to market the TowerLOX-EXT® MIS Extended Tab pedicle screw.
These extended tab screws expand the capabilities of Captiva’s TowerLOX pedicle screw system. They were designed to reduce insertion pathway, eliminate counter-torque wound expansion and expand the abilities of Captiva’s TowerLOX’s instrumentation for rod delivery, rod reduction and spondylolisthesis reduction.
TowerLOX-EXT screws provide 15mm of controlled, built-in rod reduction above the break-off, and in-situ tower attachment capabilities provide a MIS rescue/revision option not available with other extended tab systems, according to Captiva.
