Bone Solutions announced completion of the first 250 cases of implanted OsteoCrete® magnesium-based bone void filler. This is an increase from 50 implants within its first quarter of market availability, as reported in January 2018.
OsteoCrete is resorbable, injectable, moldable and biocompatible, and cleared for procedures such as complex sport-related injuries and musculoskeletal extremities trauma. The product is reported to be the first in the U.S. to incorporate magnesium rather than calcium to support bone health and development.
