Bodycad was granted a Health Canada (HC) medical device license and clearance to market Bodycad OnCall™ personalized cutting guides.
This is reportedly the first HC license received by a Canadian manufacturer for a personalized orthopaedic bone resection device.
Bodycad’s systems are based on proprietary 3D renderings of medical images of the patient’s anatomy, and are delivered as a “procedure in a box” with the patient-specific implant and instruments needed to perform procedures such as deformity correction and oncology tumor resection.
