Two-year clinical results from a study of BioPoly's RS Partial Resurfacing Knee indicate statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in knee pain and function.
Compared to microfracture, the 2-year data indicates significantly improved patient outcomes, especially in quality of life and sports measures. Notably, positive outcomes were not age-dependent.
This study data was reported in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. Longer-term clinical data is being collected for the cohort of patients in this study, and 5-year results will be published.
