The proprietary BioPoly® material combines an orthopaedic polymer (i.e. ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) with hyaluronic acid to yield a robust, self-lubricating material that is extremely biocompatible with cartilage tissues.
BioPoly products are CE Marked and have been in use clinically since 2012. They are available globally (ex-U.S.) through OrthoD.
