Aziyo Biologics entered into a co-marketing agreement with SurGenTec to supply ViBone viable bone matrix cartridges for distribution with SurGenTec’s GraftGun universal graft delivery system. Combined, the systems will be marketed for minimally invasive spine and orthopaedic procedures.
Aziyo launched ViBone in 2017 as a matrix designed to perform like autograft. The company also markets OsteGro allograft bone matrix with application in spinal fusion, hip reconstruction and fractures and TranZgraft sports grafts, including tendons and ligaments.
GraftGun, part of SurGenTec’s Graft Delivery System (GDS), supports universal, quick and accurate bone graft delivery to a surgical site without use of a traditional funnel. Its patented, controlled release method is designed to dispense bone graft with enough pressure to easily fill any bone void during bone graft surgery. SurGenTec also launched GraftGun in 2017.
