Aurora Spine commenced commercial launch of its proprietary minimally invasive SOLO™ ALIF Stand-Alone Cage. SOLO is implanted through a single incision, yielding less patient trauma and time savings for the surgical team.
SOLO is an integrated plate and spacer system, constructed with four anchor points for inserting titanium alloy fixed angle screws for long-term stability. A porous structure is designed to improve adhesion to vertebral body endplates and support bone in-growth.
The product has already seen initial success in select procedures by Aurora customers.
