Amplitude Surgical Acquires Remaining Interest in Brazilian Subsidiary

Amplitude Surgical acquired the remaining minority interests (40%) of Unimplant, its distribution subsidiary in Brazil. For FY2015-2016, the company reports 30% growth in the region, which accounts for 10% of Amplitude's sales.

The company acquired a 50% stake in Unimplant in 1Q14 and an additional 10% 2Q15.

Amplitude Surgical markets devices to treat hip, knee and extremities, and operates its Novastep subsidiary to serve foot and ankle markets. In 2Q15, Amplitude filed for FDA 510(k) clearance of its posterior stabilized ANATOMIC® knee.
