Amplify Surgical reached the milestone of treating 1,000 spinal levels with the dualX Dual Expanding Interbody Fusion System.
dualX comprises a line of titanium expandable interbody devices designed to expand in both width and height, implanted in lateral lumbar interbody fusion, posterior lumbar interbody fusion and transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion.
Andy Choi, Amplify Surgical CEO, said, “It is encouraging to see dualX® gain further exposure and continue to be adopted across the country as we transition out of such a challenging time. Our 1,000th level landmark represents the support of a group of extremely skilled surgeons and the success of the dualX® concept—a breakthrough from the limitations of ordinary peek, titanium, or current expandable devices on the market that were limited in the results they could achieve. With things getting back to a new normal, we are more motivated than ever and expect an impressive acceleration of growth in the near future.”
